I started mosaics about eight years ago. My mother gave me an old table and I covered it with lots of colors. I decide to use the broken dishes, terra-cotta pots, beach glass and shells, I couldn't seem to part with to cover the table top.
I like to use recycled objects, from plywood to dishes, jewelry and mirrors, I acquire. |
 I love color and have done many different mediums over the years, stained-glass, jewelry, and knitting. My husband and I moved here from Key West five years ago and are slowly adjusting to the climate change. My work is displayed at the KDH Gallery, Islands by Amity in Duck, Tickled Pink in Kitty Hawk, and Chilli Peppers restaurant in Kill Devil Hills. I enjoy doing custom work, and have even done back splashes for people's kitchen's. |
